Wilbur Floyd passed away April 25, 2017 at his home in San Antonio. Masonic graveside services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday, May 6, in the cemetery chapel at Idalou, under the direction of McMillan-Satterwhite Funeral Home of Graham. Wilbur was born July 27, 1936 in Muleshoe, and was the son of Frank and Velma Floyd. Wilbur graduated from Floydada High School in 1954. He married Iris Harris of Idalou on Feb. 8, 1957. Wilbur’s early employment took the family through several towns before eventually settling in Wink, from 1972 to 1996.

Adell Dodd, 92, passed away Thursday, April 27, 2017 in Wichita Falls. Funeral services will be held Monday, May 1, at 2 p.m. in Morrison Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Pioneer Cemetery under the direction of Morrison Funeral Home.

Gae Elizabeth “Beth” Beavers, 49, of Morris, Okla., passed away from this life into the presence of her Lord and Savior on Friday, April 7, 2017, in Tulsa, Oklahoma. She was born April 5, 1968, in Craig, Colo., to Guy and Joan McChesney Edwards. Beth moved to Texas as a child and graduated from Graham High School as a salutatorian. She married Bobby Beavers, the love of her life, on May 29, 1998. She was a stay-at-home mother, loving her children. Beth was the picture of the godly woman mentioned in Proverbs 21.

Shahrbanoo Farrah Sharif, 55, passed away Friday, April 21, 2017 in Wichita Falls. Graveside services will be held Tuesday, April 25, 2017 at 2 p.m. in Rosemont Cemetery in Wichita Falls, under the direction of Morrison Funeral Home. Farrah was born Aug. 23, 1961 in Shiraz, Iran, to the late Mohammad Reza Mojarrad and Hajieh Ghorbani. She married Ahmad Shawn Sharif. Survivors include her husband, Shawn Sharif of Wichita Falls; daughter, Yasamin Sharif of Fort Worth; and sister, Tahereh Mojarrad of California.

Margaret Kay Parsons Gallegos, 74, passed away surrounded by family on Saturday, April 22, 2017 in Wichita Falls following a short illness. Memorial services will be held Sunday, April 30, at 2 p.m. in Morrison Funeral Home Chapel. Kay was born on April 20, 1943 in Graham. Kay was a lifelong resident of Graham, and a member of the First Baptist Church. She graduated from North Texas State University in Denton in 1965 and taught English at Bryson High School for a short time. Most of her career was spent at Graham Magnetics, and she was recently employed by Dr.

Dorothy June Taylor, 90, retired co-owner of Taylor Chevrolet, went to be with our Lord on Thursday, April 20, 2017 in Corinth. Her funeral is 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, April 26, at Hawkins Funeral Home Chapel in Bridgeport, with burial in East Bridgeport Cemetery. Family received friends from 6 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Rev. Gerre Joiner will officiate. Dorothy was born Aug. 14, 1926 in Tarrant County, to Newt and Sarah (Gargis) Easley. She was united in marriage to Floyd Tayor on Aug. 3, 1943, in Boyd. Dorothy was a member of the First Baptist Church in Decatur.

Rosemary McClanahan, 95, passed away Tuesday, April 18, 2017 in Graham.  Funeral services were held Friday, April 21, at 10 a.m. in Morrison Funeral Home Chapel. Burial followed in Pioneer Cemetery under the direction of Morrison Funeral Home. Rosemary was born June 27, 1921 in Electra, to the late William and Eva (Sewell) Martin.

John L. “J.L.” Martin Jr. passed away April 16, 2017 at his home near Graham. A memorial service was held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, April 19, at McMillan-Satterwhite Funeral Home in Graham. J.L. was born Feb. 4, 1933 in South Bend, to John L. and Ethel Martin, and had lived in Graham most of his life. He was retired from the city of Graham after 37 years and loved to hunt and fish. Survivors include his wife, Christine Martin; two sons, John D.

Stephen C. Lane, 63, passed away Thursday, April 13, 2017 in Graham. Funeral services were held Saturday, April 22 at 10 a.m. in Morrison Funeral Home Chapel. Burial followed in Newcastle Cemetery in Newcastle under the direction of Morrison Funeral Home. Stephen was born April 5, 1954 in Graham, to George Kenneth and Phyllis Jo (Jones) Lane.

Tony Cleveland King peacefully passed away at the age of 82, at his home in Bryson, on April 15, 2017. Tony was born to Harvey and Alta (Chambers) King on July 23, 1934 in Bryson. He married Mary Alice Bryson on Aug. 30, 1952.
