Joe Lee Hailey

Joe Lee Hailey passed away Nov. 14, 2016 at his home near Ivan, surrounded by family and friends. He was 41. A graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday at the South Prairie Cemetery near Ivan. McMillan-Satterwhite Funeral Home in Graham is in charge of arrangements. Joe was born Feb. 8, 1975 in Graham.

Wanda Joyce ‘Joy’ Burgess Bolen

SOUTHLAKE -- Wanda Joyce "Joy" Burgess Bolen passed away at the age of 80 on Tuesday, Nov. 8, 2016. Funeral will be held at 11:30 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 12, in Mount Olivet Chapel, 2301 N. Sylvania Ave. in Fort Worth. Joy was born Dec. 16, 1935, to her loving parents that she is now in heaven with, Ben and Ola Burgess. Joy was a loving daughter, cousin, aunt, niece, friend and most importantly a wonderful single mother to her two daughters. She was loving, full of life, caring, giving, and always wanted to help others to the very end. Everyone she met truly loved her.

Wanda Grayham

Wanda Grayham, 85, passed away Friday, Nov. 11, 2016 in Graham.  Graveside services will be held Sunday, Nov. 13, at 2 p.m. in Medlan Chapel Cemetery under the direction of Morrison Funeral Home. Wanda was born Aug. 13, 1931 in Big Lake. She married John R. Keen Sr. and he preceded her in death in 2015. Wanda was a homemaker and moved to Graham in 2015 from Bonham. Survivors include her niece, Earlene Bazar of Graham; and several great nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a son, Danny Qualls, and four brothers.

Joyce Ellen Shumate

Joyce Ellen Shumate passed away Nov. 6, 2016 in Wichita Falls. A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, Nov. 11, at McMillan-Satterwhite Funeral Home in Graham, with Mark Bumpus and Richard Segars officiating. Ellen was born Sept. 21, 1931 in Fort Smith, Ark., to Marshall Frank and Rutha Nunn. She moved to Graham in 1982 from Odessa.

James Wesley Nickols

James Wesley Nickols, 78 of Mineral Wells passed away at his home Thursday, Nov. 3, 2016. Funeral service were Monday, Nov. 7, at 11a.m. at Baum-Carlock-Bumgardner Funeral Home in Mineral Wells. Burial will follow in Goldthwaite. He was born at home in Goldthwaite on Oct. 1, 1938. He married Sandy Hausler on May 13, 1967, and they have lived in Mineral Wells for almost 50 years. He was well known in town for being the founder of Redi Auto Supply. He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Ethel Tyson Nickols.

Annie Bryson Wilson

Annie Bryson Wilson passed away Oct. 29, 2016 in Sunnyvale. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 5, at McMillan-Satterwhite Funeral Home in Graham. Interment will be in Cottonwood Cemetery near Bryson. Wilson was born April 15, 1925 in Bryson, to Henry S. and Mary Vera (Rankin) Bryson. She had lived in Bryson and Olney for several years and was a member of the Church of Christ.

William Radalphas ‘Bill’ Moody

William Radalphas "Bill" Moody, 84, of Graham passed away Sunday, Oct. 30, 2016 in Wichita Falls. A memorial service will be held Saturday, Nov. 5, at 2 p.m. at Christian Hope Church in Newcastle. Services are under the direction of Morrison Funeral Home. Bill was born June 23, 1932 in Newcastle, to the late Fred Alonzo and Alice Gertrude (Brown) Moody. He was retired from the oil and gas industry and was veteran of the Air Force. Bill enjoyed tending his Roller pigeons and chickens.

Joan Myrtle Cook

Joan Myrtle Cook, 81, passed away Sunday, Oct. 30, 2016 at Possum Kingdom Lake. Funeral services will be held Thursday, Nov. 3, at 11 a.m. at Morrison Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Veal Creek Cemetery in Stephens County under the direction of Morrison Funeral Home. Joan was born Feb. 1, 1935 in Gorman to the late Willie Clifton and Martha Rena (Gann) Thomas. She married Leo Harlin Cook July 3, 1957 in Rotan. Joan moved to Possum Kingdom Lake in 1979 from Bridge City and worked for H&R Block.

Charles Leonard ‘Chuck’ Wages

Charles Leonard “Chuck” Wages, 73, passed away Thursday, Oct. 27, 2016 in Graham. Graveside services will be held Monday, Oct. 31, at 11 a.m. in Pioneer Cemetery under the direction of Morrison Funeral Home. Charles was born July 9, 1943 in Garrison, to the late Leonard Otto and Hattie Mae (Townley) Wages. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and a member of the VFW Post 8567. Survivors include his sister, Mary Covey and husband, John of Graham; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by two sisters and a brother. The family will be at the funeral home from 9 to 11 a.m. Monday.

Carol Lee Robinson

Funeral services for Carol Lee Robinson, formerly of Graham, were held Wednesday, Oct. 20, at the Greenwood Community Church in Greenwood Village, Colorado. Robinson died Oct. 17, 2016, in Centennial, Colo., after a five-year struggle with dementia and accompanying diseases. Carol Lee Peter was born Jan. 11, 1938, in rural Sherman County, Kansas, to Philip Peter and Fern Johnson Peter.
