Mildred Marie Stigge Peitz

Mildred Marie Stigge Peitz went to be with her Lord and Savior on the 25th of August 2021.

She was born Feb. 27, 1928, in Barnes, KS, to the late Edward and Ida Stigge. Three days after birth, she was baptized in the farmhouse by the late Rev. Louis Temme.

Funeral services will be held at Faith Lutheran Church with burial in Pioneer Cemetery Sept. 1, 2021, at 10 a.m. She attended St. Peter’s Parochial school. She was confirmed April 6, 1941, by Rev. L. Temme.

WJ Rittenbury

WJ Rittenbury, 81, passed away Wednesday, Aug. 25, 2021, at his home in Bryson. Graveside services will be held Saturday, Aug. 28, 2021, at 10 a.m. in Cottonwood Cemetery under the direction of Morrison Funeral Home.

WJ was born Dec. 18, 1939, in Paducah to the late Earl and Edith May (Holdin) Rittenbury. He married Barbara Jean Phillips Jan. 24, 1962, in Irving and she preceded him in death June 2, 2003.

Ruth Arellano

Ruth Arellano, 59, passed away Tuesday, Aug. 24, 2021, in Graham.  Funeral services will be held Saturday, Aug. 28, 2021, at 11 a.m. in Morrison Funeral Home Chapel.

Ruth was born Nov. 3, 1961 in Loraine to the late Benito Munos and Rosa (Alverez) Gonzalez. She married Johnny Arellano Sept. 20, 1980 in Graham. She was a loving wife, mother, and NayNay. Ruth was employed by South Plains Community as a WIC Certified Specialist.

Geneva Yvonne Dooley

Geneva Yvonne Dooley, 87, passed away Monday Aug. 23, 2021. Funeral Services will be held Friday, Aug. 27 at 11 a.m. at McMillan-Satterwhite Funeral Home Chapel. Interment followed at Pioneer Cemetery. Visitation was held Thursday evening from 6-8 p.m. at the Funeral Home.

Geneva was born Nov. 30, 1933, in Young County to the late Luther Dobbs and Tommy Rudder. She worked most of her life as a cosmetologist. She was a long-time member of Bethel Baptist Church. She loved spending time with her family, Geneva will be dearly missed by all.

Don Nance

Don Nance, 67, passed away Wednesday, Aug. 25, 2021, in Graham. A memorial service will be held Saturday, Aug. 28, 2021, at 11 a.m. at Oak Street Baptist Church in Graham under the direction of McMillan-Satterwhite Funeral Home. Burial will be held at Medlan Chapel Cemetery at 10 a.m. Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Friday, Aug. 27, at the Funeral Home.

John Harold Wood

John Harold Wood, 94, of Graham, Texas died Saturday, Aug. 7, 2021. A memorial service for John Wood will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Aug. 21, at Salem-Crestview United Methodist Church in Graham.

He was born Feb. 25, 1927, in Roanoke, Texas, to John Lavell Wood and Hazel Arnold Wood. He served in the U.S. Army in 1945-46 as an Aircraft Operations Specialist and later became a commercial airline pilot. He loved to fly, play golf and read. He was a member of the Salem-Crestview United Methodist Church in Graham.

Ritta Ann Bruce

Ritta Ann Bruce, 89, passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Sunday, Aug. 1, 2021, in Frisco, Texas. A memorial service will be held Saturday, Aug. 21, 2021, at 10 a.m. in the Pioneer Cemetery Gazebo. Arrangements will be with Morrison Funeral Home.

Betty Joy Cranfill

Betty Joy Cranfill, 86, peacefully passed away on Sunday, Aug. 8, 2021, with her family by her side. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 14, 2021, at Eastside Church of Christ, 705 Indiana Street, Graham, Texas. Betty was born June 10,1935 in Porter Springs, Texas to the late Diamond and Charles Waymon Brewton. She grew up in Alice, Texas and in 1956, she met her husband, Hoyt Cranfill. Together their passage took them to ministries in Texas and New Mexico. They retired in 1996 in Graham, Texas.
