Maurine Davidson Pettus

Maurine Davidson Pettus, age 100, passed away at her home Monday, Jan. 25, 2021. A Memorial service will be 2 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 31, 2021 at First Presbyterian Church.

Maurine was born May 7, 1920 in Dallas, Texas to Gertrude Maurine (Gulledge) Davidson and L.L. Davidson. She had two sisters, Martha (Davidson) Hinson and Alyce Marie (Davidson) Bradshaw. She spent her childhood living in Fort Worth, Ranger, Breckenridge, and finally in Graham.

Joe Teniente Reyna

Joe Teniente Reyna, a beloved father and grandfather passed away in his home on Jan. 24, 2021 after battling complications from heart disease. He was a member of the Graham community since he was 19 years old. In that time, he helped build the Graham golf course working side by side with his father. He met and married his wife of 52 years. He later worked for Hexel, and eventually retired from The Cliffs as their irrigation technician. He touched many lives in his 78 years. Most people would say he was one of the kindest, most generous men they knew.

Billy Wayne Parks

Temple, Texas ~ Billy Wayne Parks, age 84, passed away on Friday, Jan. 22, 2021 at Mercy House in Temple, Texas. Graveside services were held at 2 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 28, 2021 at Restland Cemetery in Olney, Texas. Arrangements were under the direction of Lunn Funeral Home of Olney.

Larry Owen Hulsey

Larry Owen Hulsey - who served as a leader in the oil industry, in government, in his community and his church - died Jan. 22, 2021 at his home in Graham. He distinguished himself as a hard worker who gets things done. His devotion to his work, family, and country earned him the admiration and respect of colleagues from coast-to-coast with his wit, humor, and intellect.

Graveside services were held Monday, Jan. 25, 2021 at 2 p.m. at the Gazebo in Pioneer Cemetery under the direction of Morrison Funeral Home.

Leta Harrell

Leta Harrell, 89, passed away peacefully at her home in Graham Friday, Jan. 22, 2021. Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 26, 2021 at the Gazebo in Pioneer Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Morrison Funeral Home.

Leta was born Aug. 25, 1931 in Bryson, Texas to the late Etha Eliza (Coonrod) Ashley and Harry Ashley. She married Edward Harrell Dec. 23, 1947. He preceded her in death Feb. 23, 2019. Leta was a member First United Methodist Church Graham and past member of Cracker Town Sams. She was an extremely talented seamstress and love to crochet.

Jerry Don Clayton

On Saturday, Jan. 16, 2021, Jerry Don Clayton, child of God, loving husband, and father of two children, passed away at age 82 from complications due to COVID-19.

Jerry was born on Dec. 26, 1938 in Olney, Texas to Gilbert and Celia (Brumley) Clayton. In 1956, Jerry was selected to attend the United States Congressional Page High School in Washington, D.C. He graduated in 1957. Jerry continued his education at Colorado School of Mines and Midwestern State University in Wichita Falls, Texas.

Eva Latane Wiseman

Eva Latane Wiseman, 79, of Bartlesville Oklahoma passed away peacefully in her home Sunday Jan. 17, 2021. Visitation will be Saturday, Jan. 23 from 1 p.m. - 2:30 p.m. at the Morrison Funeral Home in Graham, TX, with a graveside service at the Markley cemetery at 3 p.m. with Pastor Chad Hopkins officiating. Reception to follow at the Loving Community Center.

Shirley Welch

Shirley Welch, age 84 of Sherman, Texas, passed away Sunday, Jan. 17, 2021 at Texas Health in Allen, Texas. Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 23, 2021 at Restland Cemetery in Olney, Texas with Scotte Clark, minister of the Hamilton Street Church of Christ, officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Lunn Funeral Home of Olney.

Geneva Pearl Eaton

Geneva Pearl Eaton passed away at her home in Graham on Jan. 17, 2021. She was 99 years old. McMillan-Satterwhite Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

Mrs. Eaton was born Oct. 27, 1921 in Oologah, Oklahoma to the late Still David Dirickson and Willie Edith Polson Dirickson. She worked in the retail sales industry and was proud of her Cherokee Indian heritage. She married Cecil Leonard Eaton. They lived a long, loving life together, and after his passing in 1996, Geneva moved to Graham to be near her family, where she became a member of First Baptist Church.
